Lipton Media, a leading media events business, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join its team. As the largest and longest running events in the industry, we draw in audiences of over 12,000 visitors per show.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate sales professional to join our small but established team on a marketing-leading portfolio of consumer events. The role is hybrid based in London, with two work from home days and three at our office in Angel, Islington.
Key Responsibilities:- Selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to prospective clients.
- Outreach calls to clients via a mix of warm incoming leads and cold calls.
- Leading a team of three sales executives to achieve set targets.
- Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets, set by the Sales Manager.
- Face-to-face sales presentations with clients and agencies.
- Contributing ideas to drive business growth.
- Attending competitor events to generate new leads.
- Proven experience in media sales, ideally exhibition sales.
- A passion for sales and willingness to make outbound calls.
- Some team leadership experience.
- Highly driven to hit targets and reach financial incentives (commission).
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills.
- A confident, outgoing personality.
- Able to work as part of a team but also use initiative.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including commission structure and opportunities for career advancement.
