Job Title: Customer Support Technologist

North Ayrshire Council is seeking a skilled Customer Support Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support experiences to our customers.

As a Customer Support Technologist, you will be the primary point of contact for technical support, working closely with customers to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer timely and effective solutions to common technical issues related to customer technology products.
  • Keep accurate customer records in our IT service management system.
  • Perform diagnostic repairs on a range of technologies, including smartphones, laptops, and desktops.
  • Configure and install endpoints for customers.
  • Participate in the development and testing of new programs and projects.
  • Deliver technical support for endpoints and consumer electronics.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
