Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership to the neonatal team, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members, promoting their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes as needed.
Person Specification
  • Registration on the NMC register as a Children's or Adult Nurse.
  • Diploma or degree in relevant subject, or working towards.
  • Neonatal QIS qualification.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • At least five years' experience in neonatal nursing, including three years at band 6 in an acute setting.
