Job Title: Digital Transformation Lead for Maternity and Neonatal ServicesJob Summary:

The Digital Transformation Lead for Maternity and Neonatal Services will report to the Deputy Head of Midwifery and Director of Midwifery & Gynaecology. This role is responsible for the replacement of the current maternity information system and the upgrade of the existing neonatal information system, enabling the digitisation of maternity and neonatal health records and efficient sharing of clinical information between service users, staff, and management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and share a strategic vision for how technology enhances clinical quality, patient safety, and practice improvements in Maternity and Neonatal Services.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to support Departmental, Divisional, and Trust developments in Digital Technology, including clinical governance and risk management.
  • Drive innovation and champion the development of a clinically appropriate information-sharing culture, enabling change and quality improvement across the organisation.
  • Ensure maternity and neonatal colleagues adopt and engage with technology.
  • Support the digital empowerment of patients and citizens.
  • Represent the Trust at internal and external meetings with all levels of Trust staff and with suppliers.

Requirements:
  • Registered healthcare professional eligible to practice.
  • First-level degree in a related healthcare discipline or substantial experiential equivalence.
  • Master's degree relevant to the role or equivalent experience.
  • Clinical Safety Officer Certification or working towards.
  • Project management qualification or relevant experience.
