Neonatal Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neonatal Nurse to join our team on the Walnut Ward (Special Care Baby Unit) in a transitional care specialist role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide comprehensive care to newborns, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
- To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to NHS standards and guidelines.
- To participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, with a strong focus on neonatal care.
- Substantial experience in a neonatal setting, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and families.
- Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends, as required.
