Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Educator to join our successful team in Childcare settings throughout Northampton. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Level 3 qualification and have a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

About the Role:

  1. To work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, in line with EYFS guidelines.
  2. To design and deliver a wide range of engaging activities for children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  3. To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursery, including changing nappies and toilet training where applicable.
  4. To undertake domestic tasks within the nursery, such as cleaning equipment and maintaining tidy rooms.
  5. To assist with meal service, taking into account individual preferences and dietary requirements.
  6. To ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere for children.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for children to thrive.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Nursery Education.
  • 1 year of experience in childcare is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £24,057 per annum, based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks of employment, with an hourly rate of £11.80.
