Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team at Long Term Futures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to adapt their teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to a class of pupils in our Resource Hub, which is well-equipped and staffed by a supportive team of Teaching Assistants. We require someone who is patient, passionate, and committed to helping our students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons to a class of pupils with a range of SEN needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Work closely with the team of Teaching Assistants to ensure seamless support for our students.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (Ideally SEN specialism)
  • Experience teaching the EYFS curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN (ASD, PDA, ADHD, SEMH)

Salary: £140-£210 per day
