About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Training and Adoption Lead to join our newly established Digital Patient Pathway Management (DPPM) team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Comprehensive Training Programmes: Develop and deliver training programmes for Trust staff on digital patient pathway management tools and processes.
  • Adoption Strategy and Implementation: Work with the Digital Change Manager to develop and implement an adoption strategy to maximise the uptake and effective use of digital tools, and to identify barriers to adoption and develop solutions to overcome them.
  • Line Management and Coaching: Provide line management and ongoing support and coaching to the DPPM training and adoption team to provide high standards of training on digital patient pathway management tools.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in Training and Digital Transformation: Experience in designing and delivering training programmes, preferably within a healthcare or digital transformation context.
  • Strong Understanding of Digital Tools: Strong understanding of digital tools and their application in healthcare settings, with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible training content.
  • Proactive and Solution-Focused: A proactive and solution-focused approach to overcoming barriers to adoption and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide ongoing support and coaching to colleagues across the Trust.

Person Specification
  • Education and Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification or relevant management experience.
  • Experience in Digital Tools: Experience in using digital tools to create high-quality training content.
  • Desirable Qualifications: An understanding of RTT and management of Elective Care pathways in the NHS, experience of training in small groups or in large classroom settings, and ability to assess users' learning needs.
