About the Role

The Senior Manager, Climate Transition will be responsible for leading our climate change programme, which focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in climate change policy and international development, with experience in programme management and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strategies and programmes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development.
  • Manage a team of programme officers and consultants to implement our climate change programme.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and private sector companies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of our climate change programme and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, international development, or economics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in programme management and leadership, with a focus on climate change and sustainable development.
  • Strong background in climate change policy and international development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
