Head of Fees and Revenue

GRL Legal is a leading set of Barristers Chambers based in the north of England, specialising in Civil, Family and Criminal law. We are looking for an experienced Head of Fees and Revenue to join our Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, with experience in managing fees and revenue. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with barristers, clients, and teams across Chambers.
A salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum is available, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting top talent in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Fees Team, setting clear goals, driving performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Implement cutting-edge billing systems, optimise workflows, and stay ahead of industry advancements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage all billing and fee collection activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and robust reporting for high-value cases.
- Develop points of contact for fee-related matters, building strong relationships with barristers, clients, and teams across Chambers.
- Analyse revenue trends and performance metrics, providing strategic recommendations to Chambers' leadership.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in senior billing or financial operations roles, ideally in a Chambers setting - familiarity with legal aid billing and public funding processes would be an advantage.
- Proficiency with case management software (e.g., Chambers Lex) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
