A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organized individual to join the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust as a Patient Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist admin support to the Vascular and General Surgery team.

As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be accountable for consistently and accurately carrying out your duties, providing a high-quality and efficient service to patients and colleagues at all levels. You will work quickly and accurately under pressure, with good IT skills and confident communication.

This role involves comprehensive administrative support to Clinical Admin Team 4 together with the Gastroenterology & Endoscopy department and Clinicians. You will support the CAT in delivering a patient-focused service, processing general admin duties, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and managing data.

About the Role:

  • Delivering a patient-focused service, providing specialist admin support to the Vascular and General Surgery team
  • Providing a high-quality and efficient service to patients and colleagues at all levels
  • Processing general admin duties, including telephone answering and appointment scheduling
  • Managing data, both electronic and paper-based
