About Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative
We are a not-for-profit charity established in 1989, supporting people with learning disabilities in Wales. Our innovative approach encourages individuals, employees, and the community to be in control of one of Wales' largest support providers.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our support service. The successful candidate will promote independence for the people we support, enabling them in an innovative, person-centred, and flexible way.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide motivational leadership and direction to the team, enabling them to give quality, person-centred support.
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders and put our vision and values into action to deliver an excellent service.
- Ensure the team is equipped to work under pressure and meet the needs of our service users.
Requirements
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically.
- Reliability and commitment to delivering high-quality support.
- Ability to work well as a member of a growing team and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the region.
- Care management experience and QCF level 3 qualification (willingness to work towards Level 5).
