About the Role
Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caring Support Worker to join their team at West Drayton Primary School.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emotional support and care to students, ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide First Aid and Care: Attend to students with minor injuries or health issues, and provide assistance as needed.
- Emotional Support and Guidance: Offer a listening ear and practical assistance to students experiencing emotional difficulties.
- Liaise with Parents and Staff: Maintain strong communication between home and school, ensuring parents are informed and involved in their child's care.
- Promote Well-being: Encourage positive mental health practices, working with teachers and parents to foster a supportive environment.
- Support Attendance: Assist with attendance monitoring and provide guidance to families facing challenges.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or working with children.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills.
- First Aid training (or willingness to undergo training).
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and friendly school community.
