We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at Yare Ward, Hellesdon Hospital in Norwich. As a key member of our acute in-patient psychiatric care unit, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to deliver high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our team and contribute to the development of our services. You will be responsible for providing expert clinical input to Yare Ward, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the in-patient care units
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including education and research initiatives

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from:

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Entry on the GMC register
  • Section 12(2) Approved under the Mental Health Act (MHA)
  • Approved Clinician Status
  • Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST
  • Evidence of knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex mental illness
