About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in HSE from a manufacturing background and a comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations. As Aerospace Safety Director, you will provide expert guidance and leadership on health and safety matters, driving a safety-first culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic direction and leadership on health and safety initiatives
  2. Lead HSE projects and internal/external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards
  3. Develop and maintain robust HSE policies and procedures
  4. Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections
  5. Implement environmental policies to reduce impact

Salary and Benefits:

  • £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • 10% STIP bonus
  • Car allowance of £7,700 per annum
  • 3 x Life assurance

  • 25 days holiday with options to buy extra days

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health and Safety qualification
  • Senior leadership skills and experience in developing HSE policies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations
