Communication Support Specialist

We are looking for a Deaf Education Facilitator to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). In this role, you will provide interpreting services and support d/Deaf learners in a college setting. Your expertise will enable them to access their course and interact effectively with academic staff and peers.
About the Role- You will work closely with the assigned Communication Support Worker to ensure allocated students receive high-quality support
- Collaborate with tutors to develop effective lesson plans, adapting to the needs of d/Deaf learners
- Support d/Deaf learners outside of the classroom, promoting inclusive learning environments
- Develop and maintain glossaries of technical language for d/Deaf students
- Facilitate equal opportunities and integration of d/Deaf students
- Communicate effectively with other staff, including managers and course tutors
- Manage confidential records and perform administrative tasks
**Estimated Salary:** £31,173.35 - £34,551.78 per annum (based on location)
