We are looking for a motivated Communication Support Specialist to join our Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) team at Cygnet Wast Hills. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to the development and maintenance of an accessible communication environment for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work full time, 40 hours per week, supporting the communication needs of individuals at Cygnet Wast Hills under the direction of a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). Key responsibilities include:

  1. Working directly with individuals or groups
  2. Reporting on progress
  3. Providing support with resources for individuals
  4. Contributing to the development and maintenance of an accessible communication environment

Requirements

  • An interest in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Experience in the field of learning disability and/or autism desirable
  • Ability to follow and comply with delegated tasks
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and passion
