Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to individuals with learning disabilities and Autism, empowering them to live independently and make informed decisions.

This position requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for advocating for the rights of vulnerable individuals. You will receive comprehensive training and regular supervision to ensure your success in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support service users in developing independent living skills
  • Advocate for service users' rights and interests
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care
  • Document and track progress, identifying areas for improvement
