Job Summary:

Summit Recruiters is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Projects Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's sustainability journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Projects Team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collect and analyze carbon emission figures for reports, utilizing your analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Maintain up-to-date company documents, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Assist in attaining environmental accreditations and awards, contributing to the company's sustainability goals.
  • Ensure data quality for emissions reporting, utilizing your attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Travel to sites nationwide to research and collect data, utilizing your driving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Develop innovative ideas to reduce carbon emissions, staying up-to-date with new technology and best practices.
  • Support the company's target to achieve carbon-zero targets, working collaboratively with the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in sustainability and a drive to reduce carbon emissions.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Excel and Word, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Desire to learn and continuously develop, with an ability to challenge established processes and policies.
  • High level of teamwork, discipline, and enthusiasm, with a strong work ethic.
