Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Verto People. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across the UK for Hydraulic / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Fluid Power related products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts across the UK for Hydraulic / MRO products.
- Maintain fluid power / MRO product sales through demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Work remotely/field-based with regular visits to customer sites.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.
- Experience selling fluid power / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, compressed air, filtration, power transmission, couplings, and or similar would be advantageous.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Fluid Power marketplace.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the UK when required.
