About the Role

The Assistant Psychologist will be responsible for supporting the delivery of effective psychological services, working closely with qualified psychologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a good understanding of therapeutic boundaries, clinical risk, and evidence-based interventions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a good degree in Psychology and further postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health. Previous experience of working within in-patient mental health services and settings is essential, alongside some experience of working with women who experience mental health difficulties.

A strong understanding of therapeutic boundaries, clinical risk, and evidence-based interventions is also required. Additionally, patience, commitment, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £26,500 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to support your professional growth.
