Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Service Support Officer to join our AHP Administration Department at University Hospital Ayr. The successful candidate will also provide cover for Biggart Hospital, Ayrshire Central Hospital, and Arrol Park Resource Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a comprehensive clerical service for Allied Health Professionals across Ayrshire.
  2. Transcribe and populate referrals onto relevant IT systems.
  3. Engage in live calls with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  4. Support service leads in managing waiting lists.
  5. Perform general administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess relevant IT qualifications (ECDL), experience using TRAKCARE, EMIS Web, SCI Gateway, and Winscribe. Previous NHS experience is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm, and Friday 8:30am to 4pm.

Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required for this role.
