Technical Support Specialist for NHS Ayrshire and Arran

NHS Ayrshire and Arran, one of Scotland's 14 territorial NHS Boards, is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join their Digital Services ServiceDesk.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive 1st line technical telephone support to ensure the continuous availability and efficiency of IT clinical and administrative systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair desktop hardware and software, including Remote access solutions.
- Support Microsoft products, including Office 365.
A HND in Computer and Network Support or equivalent is essential. Experience supporting desktop hardware and software is also required.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft products, including Office 365.
Working ArrangementsThis is a fixed-term position for 18 months, based at Alisa Hospital, Ayr, with hybrid working arrangements.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is £25,500 - £35,220 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of the NHS team, you will also receive a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
