Purchasing Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Operations Manager to join our Austin Fraser team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating the purchasing team and its activities.
Main Responsibilities- Foster collaboration between the procurement function and other departments to drive business success.
- Monitor inventory levels closely, using data-driven insights to inform purchasing decisions.
- Create actionable reports to track key performance indicators and make strategic recommendations.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favorable contracts that align with business goals.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and manage relationships with vendors.
- Lead and coordinate daily operations within the purchasing team, setting clear objectives and expectations.
- Significant experience in commercial negotiation and global supply chain management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
- The salary range for this position is approximately £50,000 - £60,000 per year, based on factors such as location and prior experience.
