Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Operations Manager to join our Austin Fraser team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating the purchasing team and its activities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Foster collaboration between the procurement function and other departments to drive business success.
  2. Monitor inventory levels closely, using data-driven insights to inform purchasing decisions.
  3. Create actionable reports to track key performance indicators and make strategic recommendations.
  4. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favorable contracts that align with business goals.
  5. Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Ensure timely order fulfillment and manage relationships with vendors.
  7. Lead and coordinate daily operations within the purchasing team, setting clear objectives and expectations.
Essential Skills
  • Significant experience in commercial negotiation and global supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
Package Details
  • The salary range for this position is approximately £50,000 - £60,000 per year, based on factors such as location and prior experience.
  • Our comprehensive benefits package includes 23 days' paid annual leave, pension contributions matching up to 8% of your salary, life assurance covering 3 times your base salary, private medical insurance, and a company-sponsored sharesave plan.
