Inpatient Diabetes Care Coordinator Role

We are recruiting for a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Diabetes Department as a Diabetes Inpatient Specialist Nurse. The successful candidate will work closely with our existing In-Patient Diabetes Specialist Nurse to promote clinical excellence and deliver high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include supporting the co-ordination of in-patient diabetes care, ensuring effective communication with healthcare professionals and maintaining accurate records. This role also involves developing and implementing best practice guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong background in nursing, preferably at Band 5 or equivalent level, and hold a post-registration qualification in specialty. Additionally, non-medical prescriber skills and excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.
