Benelux Business Development Manager

Drive Business Growth in the Benelux Region
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our business strategy in the Netherlands and Belgium. As a Benelux Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth across both existing and new categories, managing and growing existing in-market distributors, and setting up new direct to retail relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth in the Benelux region
- Manage and grow existing in-market distributors and set up new direct to retail relationships
- Prioritize opportunities amongst markets, customers, and brands
- Deliver sales spend and profit targets
- Develop joint annual plans with customers around distribution, product range, and activities in market
- Setup and manage an external Field Sales force where relevant
- Track and monitor progress against the plan, recommending corrective actions and strategic changes to ensure targets are met
- Ensure pricing structures are implemented correctly and on time
- Responsible for all systems/processes/housekeeping related activity in relation to customers
Requirements:
- Direct experience of the Dutch market and fluency in both English and Dutch
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and action-oriented
- Eager, problem solver, and a quick learner
- Able to work independently with support from the wider team and access to a best-in-class training program
- Demonstrable 5Y+ experience in Sales/Account Management/Business development
- Experience working with top 3 retailers (e.g. Albert Heijn) and distributors
- Financial understanding including assessing value chains
- Numbers tracking on Excel
- At ease with sales data analysis and systems
- Ability to travel within the Netherlands and Belgium for customer meetings and UK (monthly meeting)
