Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to oversee our sales executives in the South West region, covering our developments in the area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maximising sales in the region through effective management and motivation of the sales team
- Conducting regular site visits to meet with sales executives, monitor their performance, and address any issues
- Developing a sales strategy for each site, including price recommendations
- Liaising with internal contacts to ensure successful site development
- Attending regular progress meetings with the marketing team to identify site-specific issues and agree marketing strategies
Responsibilities will also include:
- Preparing the welcome centre, office, and show apartments
- Recruiting, inducting, and training new sales executives
- Conducting local research, competition research, and pricing exercises
- Attending and participating in promotional presentations and events
- Monitoring interest shown in developments
- Managing sales standards onsite, including review of the 'mystery shopper' reports
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Previous managerial experience within sales, such as in a new homes, estate agency environment, or a medium-sized housebuilder
- Understanding of our market and customers
- Ability to work under pressure, on your own initiative to obtain sales results and meet targets
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive approach to sales and marketing, and determination to succeed
