Job Summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) team. As a critical care nurse specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Patient Care: Ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Advocate for Patients: Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees, and consultants, acting as an advocate to more junior members of the team.
  • Deputise for Senior Staff: Deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse and lead on clinical shifts as required.
  • Individualised Patient Care: Provide excellent standards of individual care, ensuring the provision of individualised patient care.
  • Courage to Speak Up: Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients, demonstrating courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Registered general nurse level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing studies.
  • Clinical Experience: 18 months post-registration experience.
  • Skills: Excellent clinical applied knowledge, basic workload/shift management skills, and proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Education: Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
