Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care for individuals with mental health conditions across various settings, including CAMHS, PICU, and a Specialist DBT Unit for personality disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to patients with diverse mental health needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine patient requirements, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Advocate for patients' well-being and rights, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records of patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Proven experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including within CAMHS, PICU, or a Specialist DBT Unit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
