Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nights
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at New Care. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working closely with our Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered clinical nursing care to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Manage and allocate duties to the care team, ensuring a high standard of care delivery.
- Supervise and coach Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants, promoting professional standards and best practices.
- Conduct effective assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
- Manage daily rotas and delegate workload, ensuring sufficient and safe use of manpower.
- Build relationships with external professionals, such as doctors and social workers.
- Assist the Home Manager in carrying out regular quality audits of care plans.
Requirements:
- Experience in elderly care is essential.
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
- Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people, to undertake coaching and supervision of Senior Care and Care Assistants.
- Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance.
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate and motivate a team.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and handle emergency situations effectively.
