Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back of House Assistant to join our team at Searcys. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Area Maintenance: Ensure all areas are regularly cleaned and checked for maintenance and repairs, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Catering Equipment Management: Maintain catering equipment storage areas, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Inventory Management: Accept and unload deliveries for the kitchen and cellar, checking in goods against invoices and temperature control, and storing them correctly.
  • Stock Rotation and Management: Ensure stock rotation and assist with stock takes, maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Drink Stock Preparation: Prepare and deliver drink stock for all areas of the catering operation, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Waste Management: Assist with waste management, ensuring all waste is properly disposed of and recycling is maximized.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is cleaned, stored, and maintained to a high standard, preventing equipment failure and downtime.
