Role Overview:

As a Back of House (BOH) Team Leader, you will be instrumental in maintaining our operational standards and assisting the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in fulfilling business needs. Your role will encompass supporting various kitchen and dining areas, promoting a customer-focused atmosphere, and ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen opening and closing protocols in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security, health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Assist in the training and development of both new and existing team members.
  • Supervise kitchen sections during service and maintain effective communication.
  • Contribute to overall kitchen management and uphold professional standards.
  • Ensure adherence to audits, including health & safety, food safety, stock management, financial audits, and environmental health inspections.
  • Implement allergen management procedures and minimize food waste.
  • Control operational costs while preserving quality and enhancing customer experience.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Engage in team meetings, providing motivation and constructive feedback.
