ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Back of House Manager at Knotel Old Sessions House plays a pivotal role in managing all back-of-house functions to guarantee smooth and effective service execution while upholding the highest standards of hospitality. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to juggle various responsibilities in a dynamic setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in conjunction with front-of-house personnel to resolve member concerns and uphold high satisfaction rates.
  • Oversee facility upkeep, cleanliness, and operational efficiency, liaising with service providers for maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Coordinate logistics for deliveries, manage storage solutions, and allocate space for events and meetings.
  • Lead and mentor the team, implement standard operating procedures, and maintain operational software systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade A-C; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in operational leadership, particularly within hospitality or co-working sectors.
