ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Back of House Operations Leader at Knotel Old Sessions House plays a pivotal role in managing all back-of-house functions to guarantee smooth and effective service delivery while upholding the highest standards of hospitality. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with front-of-house personnel to resolve member concerns and uphold high satisfaction rates.
  • Oversee facility upkeep, cleanliness, and operational efficiency, liaising with service providers for repairs and maintenance.
  • Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment, keeping a close eye on inventory levels.
  • Coordinate logistics for deliveries, manage storage solutions, and allocate space for events and meetings.
  • Lead and mentor the team, implement standard operating procedures, and maintain relevant software systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade A-C; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in operational leadership, particularly within a hospitality or co-working setting.

SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
