Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Malmaison Belfast. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in finance within a similar sized property. You will be expected to work closely with the general manager and other department heads to ensure exceptional guest experiences and achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and refunds to ensure efficient and accurate financial transactions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in finance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in finance within a hospitality background.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Opera systems.
