Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Insolvency and Restructuring Expert to join our team at Carlton Recruitment.

Salary: £90,000 per annum

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice to clients on insolvency and restructuring matters, leveraging expertise in law and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, insolvency practitioners, companies, and directors to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating a proven track record of client retention and business development.
  • Assess potential risks associated with insolvency work and provide strategic advice to clients on risk management and mitigation.
  • Understand the importance of time recording and financial control, particularly in regards to cash-flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience handling insolvency-related legal matters.
  • A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract, and PSC/SRA admission or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC, and PSC/SRA admission.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex legal concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Understanding and adherence to regulatory and compliance procedures.
