**The role**
**What you’ll be doing**
- To operate within our service standards, business rules and data protection guidelines when processing all the above.
- To carry out a range of additional administrative activities and tasks in order to support customer enquiries and achieve service levels.
- To respond to enquiries from customers related to CIPD Member verifications ensuring data protection guidelines are adhered to
- To raise invoices, credit notes and confirmations to customers are sent in line with out service standards and be the first point of contact for any queries related to the above.
- To liaise with our Finance team to resolve complex payment/invoice enquiries and ensure that correct financial allocations are made in all appropriate systems.
- To assist in credit control activities for non-payers of courses and membership to minimize loss of revenue for the organisation.
- To identify the need to boost numbers on specific courses, add additional dates for courses and manage customers wait listing for courses
**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Excellent administration skills
- Experience in a customer focused high-volume environment
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Good IT knowledge and confidence with data entry
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Logical, analytic and problem-solving skills
- An aptitude for statistics and a basic understanding of accounts
- Good telephone skills and the ability to deal confidently with people at all levels
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- An ability to work with and learn new technology quickly
