Financial Director

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the UK operation, including setting up and maintaining accounting controls and procedures from scratch. This is a sole charge role, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the purchase ledger function, ensuring timely payments and authorisation processes.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain credit card receipts and invoices, and gain approval for payment.
- Reconcile all credit cards and payroll accounts on a monthly basis, including PAYE and NI calculations.
- Monitor the budget for the UK operation and provide regular updates to the Director.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as requested in relation to accounting matters.
Requirements:
- High level of discretion and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and first-rate communication abilities.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
