Job Summary

As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our four-bedded children's residential home, catering to children up to 18 years old with learning disabilities or autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to each child's needs, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements, demonstrating transparency and accountability.
  • Liaise with families, local authorities, and other stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing a children's residential home, showcasing your expertise and leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with learning disabilities and autism, driving positive change and outcomes.
What We Offer

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum. You will work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development, growth, and advancement.
