Learning Disabilities Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Care Specialist to join our team at RG Care, a family-owned company providing support services for individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and other needs. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 care and support in a fast-paced environment, attending to personal care, daily living skills, and emotional support.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing support to residents in a purpose-built residential care home surrounded by fields and land. As a member of our team, you will be expected to work a mixture of early and late shifts, every other weekend, and bank holidays. Shift times are 07:00 am - 14:30 pm and 14:00 pm - 21:30 pm with long day shifts available.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care, food preparation, and daily living skills support
- Offer emotional and behavioural support
- Attend medical appointments
- Maintain a good working knowledge of residents' needs and company policies
To be considered for this role, you must have fluent English and a genuine interest in working with people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. Previous experience working with individuals who display physically challenging behaviour is desirable.
