Job Overview

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs in a specialist school setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide education support duties, assist the class teacher, and enable the implementation of the curriculum. This includes picking up and dropping off children from the residential service and transporting them to and from school.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake education support duties
  • Assist the class teacher in day-to-day pupil needs
  • Pick up and drop off children from residential services
  • Transport children to and from school
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for children with learning disabilities
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
