Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Links Centre team within the Offender Outcomes department. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative duties, including compiling daily lists, photocopying, filing, and minute taking. They will also be required to deal with internal and external telephone calls, book meetings and appointments, and manage correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide relief cover for HDC Admin and maintain competence in this role to fulfill this task effectively.
  • Provide relief cover for Casework (ICM) & My Compass Assessment Admin and maintain competence in these roles to fulfill these tasks effectively.
  • Maintain and issue domestic stock to Links Centre & Regimes areas.
  • Follow guidance of the SPS wages policy for the weekly administration and allocation of work parties on PR2/SharePoint for paying prisoner wages.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the Casework Manager across the establishment and other team members as and when required.
  • Collate, manage, and disseminate associated records in line with SPS, Government, and Legislative Data Protection and records management requirements.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum of 2 National 5 or equivalent qualifications including English and Mathematics or relevant experience gained in a similar role/environment. (Essential)

  • Experience of carrying out administrative duties, such as answering telephones, filing, and input of data.
  • Competent and experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience of understanding and following policy and procedures.
