Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and warehouse staff, overseeing transportation schedules and routes, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and driver performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing transportation plans to achieve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure seamless execution of transportation schedules and tasks.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
What You'll Need:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and software, such as routing optimization tools and fleet management systems.
