Senior Project Cost Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Cost Professional to join our client, a respected residential developer and main contractor in the North Wales and North West areas.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate project costs efficiently from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to financial objectives and budget targets.
  • Lead the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration, to achieve optimal results.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing various contract forms, such as JCT D&B, management contracting, and NEC, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, overseeing procurement, payment applications, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cost, contracts, and procurement, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis to inform business decisions.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £75,000, depending on experience.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven project management and cost control skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, and management contracting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
