Job Title:

Special Education Support Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Support Teacher to provide individualized academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student, taking into account their unique abilities and challenges.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and promote cognitive development.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure optimal growth and achievement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with teachers, parents, and other professionals to guarantee a comprehensive approach to student support.
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN, demonstrating expertise in adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Understand SEN policies and best practices, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and parents.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing part-time hours and flexible schedules.
