Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with children aged 5-11 who have SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and mild learning difficulties. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing one-to-one support and group interventions to promote social, emotional, and mental health
  2. Developing and implementing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  3. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services
  4. Contributing to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children to thrive
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children with complex needs, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and families
