Are you a skilled educational leader looking to take on a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Head Teacher at St Andrews Primary School in Kilmarnock.

About the Role

This temporary full-time position will involve managing and leading the educational establishment to benefit the children and wider community, in compliance with relevant legislation and policy. You will assist with promoting, delivering, and integrating the Council's key objectives, specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, Children and Young Person's Service Plan, and Best Value.

Responsibilities
  • Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who holds a Catholic Teaching Certificate and is able to seek RC approval. The successful candidate should be able to work Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, and be directed by the line manager.

The estimated salary for this position is £81,579 per year.
