About the Role

At Ensemble Health Partners, we are seeking a skilled Patient Access and Registration Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for performing admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at our hospital.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of customer service experience and a High School Diploma/GED. They must also be able to work on-site at our location and obtain a CRCR certification within 9 months of hire.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, growth opportunities, and recognition programs. The estimated salary for this role is $15.75 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity/compliance checks, and provide proper patient instructions.
  • Collect insurance information, receive, and process physician orders, and utilize an overlay tool while providing excellent customer service.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as applicable.
  • Conduct audits of accounts, assure that all forms are completed accurately and timely, and provide statistical data to Patient Access leadership.
  • Pre-register patient accounts prior to patient visits, including inbound and outbound calling to obtain demographic, insurance, and other patient information.
  • Explain general consent for treatment forms to the patient/guarantor/legal guardian, obtain necessary signatures, and witness's name.
