About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the success of the NHS Ayrshire and Arran orthoptic department.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing orthoptic support services and assessing visual fields in patients attending eye clinics.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing orthoptic support services to the NHS Ayrshire & Arran orthoptic department
  • Assessing visual fields in patients attending eye clinics
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate eye testing for pre-school and primary one children

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess either an SVQ III or demonstrate equivalent skills, as well as highly developed computer/technical skills.

A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is also required.

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
