**Job Title:** Temporary Headteacher

**Location:** Based within a primary school, covering a period of Maternity Leave.

**Salary:** £81,579 per year

**Contract Type:** Temporary full-time position.

**Position Type:** Full Time with 35 hours worked Monday - Friday at the direction of the line manager.

This role involves leading and managing the educational establishment to benefit children and the wider community. The successful candidate will work closely with local authorities to promote key objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the educational establishment in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Promote, deliver, and integrate the Council's key objectives, including the Community Plan and Single Outcome Agreement.
  • Work with local authorities to achieve shared commitments.
**Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must hold a Catholic Teaching Certificate.
  • They will require RC approval.
  • The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
**About the Role:

This is a temporary full-time post to cover a maternity leave based in a primary school setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Scottish Government and East Ayrshire Council to promote key objectives and improve educational outcomes for children.
